When I first started my education, I wanted to be a nurse. I got to my clinical rounds and realized I had to much heart, and I cared to much. I decided to take a bit of time off and I started working for a doctor as a receptionist. This doctor asked for some business cards and other office paperwork, and that was where my love for design started. I went back to school and started my graphic design career.
I started taking courses at Southern New Hampshire after I got my job at Liaison. I wanted to finish my degree while I continued getting real world experience in the work force. I am enjoying my time at both.
I moved on to this school hoping to receive a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree(BFA) but I quickly learned that I was no where near up to par with this accredited school. I learned to push myself to the highest point and I achieved great things.
During my time at this school I met some amazing people. One of these people is Basem Hassan. At the time he was just an adjunct professor trying to make the program great. He made such a difference in my life, helping me to learn what criticism is and what to do with it. Brookdale was an amazing experience in my career.
I learned much about people in this school. Fresh from high school I started out taking care of others. This profession seemed perfect for me, I loved working with people, and I wanted to make a difference in other peoples lives. I learned that this love was to much, and I couldn't save everyone.
